Hollywood will always find a way to squeeze every possible dollar out of any good book ever written. Pathetic if you ask me.

Just watched The Incredibles. Aside from the great soundtrack, it is just an amazing, fun movie. I love the way the soundtrack pays homage to the James Bond scores in melodies and sound...live drums...and the animation is just awe inspiring.

I am not a big fan of the crap that comes out of Hollywood, but sometimes they do some good work.

I think HHGTTG is gonna be incredible. I am one of the few who enjoy the BBC's version. This one looks like it captures the absurdist bent of the book.

I am sure the movie in itself may be good, but I am generally against the idea of making movies out of books. In my opinion, it ruins the imaginative world you created for yourself. Atleast for fiction novels...

I'm looking forward to this one. Douglas Adams is one of my favourite authors.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I think that's very generalistic. I think pretty much all of the great classic films were books before in some way. We'd lose an awful lot of good films if none were made from books.

Whether lots of classic movies are based on books is a whole other issue. I am not "generalistic", but pointing out that I am against the idea of making books into movies.
